The short version: Seesh has no accounts and no sign-up. We don't run servers that store your data, we don't use analytics or advertising, and we never sell your information. Your scan history stays on your phone.
This policy explains how the Seesh Android app ("Seesh", "the app", "we") handles information. By using Seesh you agree to this policy.
Seesh does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or payment information.
The only data the app handles is:
Seesh uses Google's Gemini API to analyse label images and produce a health score and breakdown. Images you scan are transmitted to Google for this purpose. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own terms:
Seesh does not include advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or third-party trackers.
Label images are used for one purpose only: to read the label and return your result. We do not build user profiles, do not track you across apps or websites, and do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing.
Because scan history is stored only on your device, you are in full control of it. To delete everything, either clear the app's storage (Android Settings → Apps → Seesh → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall the app. Both permanently remove all locally stored data. We hold no server-side copy to delete.
All communication between the app and Google's Gemini API is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. As no personal data or account exists, there is no user database to breach.
Seesh is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Seesh provides general nutritional information for educational purposes only. Scores, verdicts, and ingredient notes are generated automatically and may contain errors. Seesh is not medical or dietary advice and should not replace guidance from a qualified healthcare professional or the information printed on the product packaging. Always check the physical label if you have allergies or medical dietary requirements.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version, and material changes will be reflected in the app's store listing.
